Christmas Lights & Complicated Hearts

Three new holiday singles are coming November 14. A story of complicated hearts, midnight doorsteps, and choosing warmth again — set in the glow of the Christmas lights in Aarhus.

This November, I’m releasing a project that feels like both a confession and a celebration.

For the longest time, Christmas was something I associated with memory — with the kind of love you feel in your chest long after it’s gone. Last year, something shifted. The city lights came on again in Aarhus, and I realized I was ready to let the warmth back in. Slowly. Quietly. Softly.

And so — three new songs are arriving on November 14., each one holding a different version of love at Christmas time:

until December comes, and silence feels louder than the past.
This song is for the ghosts we still open the door to — softly, quietly, almost without meaning to.

Because love can be gentle too.
Not every story is heartbreak.
Sometimes the greatest gift is simply choosing someone who stays — and allowing yourself to be held.

Why These Songs Matter

These tracks came from conversations I couldn’t say out loud.
From pages of my journal I never meant to show anyone.
From the way winter brings back old stories — and sometimes writes new ones.

I didn’t plan that — but now it feels like the most meaningful timing in the world.
